Rooks' Retreat Cottage.

Rooks' Retreat is a family friendly, 3 bedroomed and 3 bathroomed self-catering cottage full of character. Just 3 miles from historic Pembroke and 7 from lively Tenby, it is suitable for all ages, families and couples.

The car park can accommodate up to 3 cars and the enclosed rear lawn with patio area, BBQ and garden furniture, overlooks the village green; an ideal children's play area.

A narrow lane winds from Hodgeston to the Pembrokeshire Coastal footpath, with spectacular views of Freshwater East Bay and Caldey and Lundy Islands in the distance.

There are two beaches within a 10 minute drive of the cottage. Freshwater beach is easily accessible and has golden sand and superb walks and Manorbier beach is a well known surfing mecca. A convenience store and petrol station is located in Lamphey, again, only 10 minutes from Hodgeston.

The award winning theme parks of Oakwood, Folly Farm & Heatherton are all within a few miles and a visit to the Monastery on Caldey Island is a must.

There are various places to eat within a 10 minute drive of the cottage: a pub at Freshwater East overlooking the bay, a traditional 13th Century pub at Jameston plus a 4 star restaurant and local pub at Lamphey.

Wifi broadband is available, so that you can keep in touch with the office or home, while enjoying the relaxation of your holiday in Pembrokeshire.

Rooks Retreat sleeps up to 5 in 3 bedrooms: two upstairs rooms (king size, twin with double and single) a games room with X-Box and one en-suite double room on the ground floor. It is a detached centrally heated holiday cottage which is full of character, friendly to both toddlers and elderly guests.

The UPSTAIRS has 2 bedrooms: a king size en-suite bedroom with bath, a twin bedroom with double and a games room complete with X-Box.

The GROUND FLOOR has 1 double en-suite bedroom, complete with shower, bath and French doors for easy access.

The fully equipped open-plan kitchen and dining room has: an oak dining table, maple kitchen units, CD player, electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, dryer and washing machine.

The large comfortable lounge, with French doors leading to a sheltered patio area, has an LCD Freeview TV and separate DVD player, with a collection of DVDs for your use. Completing the downstairs is a separate shower room and toilet.

The gravel drive and car-park can accommodate up to 3 cars and is fenced on either side. The side entrance, with a purple flowering wisteria, leads to a private patio with BBQ and 6 seater picnic bench. The large rear lawn is fully enclosed and the adjacent village green is ideal for picnics, where children can safely play.
